Sukhumvit Soi 37: getting there and what is along it

Soi 37 is a short walk from Phrom Phong station, with food and convenience stores along it and train routes from both airports.

Short answer Sukhumvit Soi 37 is about a two-minute walk from end to end, and Phrom Phong station on the BTS is about one minute away from Exit 3. The soi runs north off Sukhumvit Road.

Getting to the soi

From Phrom Phong station (BTS Sukhumvit, E5), take Exit 3. It is about 10 metres to the corner, so the walk takes about a minute. The soi itself is 100 metres long.

The MRT Blue line stop at Sukhumvit (BL22) is further away. From Exit 2 it is about 21 minutes on foot, so you may find the BTS easier.

Along the soi

There are five places to eat along the soi and five convenience stores. There are no places to stay on the soi itself.

The soi on the same side as this one are Soi 35 and Soi 39. Across the road are Soi 36 and Soi 38.

From Suvarnabhumi (BKK), take the Airport Rail Link to Phaya Thai, then change to the BTS Sukhumvit line for Phrom Phong. That is 14 stops with one change. The walk between the two platforms at Phaya Thai is about 157 metres.

From Don Mueang (DMK), the route has 19 stops and two changes. Take the SRT Dark Red line to Krung Thep Aphiwat, then walk about 255 metres to Bang Sue for the MRT Blue line. Ride to Sukhumvit, walk about 172 metres to Asok for the BTS, and go one stop to Phrom Phong.
